The newly completed chevet of Clear Creek Abbey Church |
The monks of the traditionalist Benedictine abbey of Clear Creek recently sent out the following e-mail:
Dear Friend of Clear Creek,
The construction of the chevet of the Abbey church is coming to completion. We are very grateful to all of you who helped make this possible by your prayers and generosity and sacrifices. The work was held up by some supply problems and cold weather, but the masons were laying the final stones on February 2nd, as we were celebrating the Lord's Presentation in the Temple. This coincidence encouraged us to share some photos of the work site and not-quite-complete church.
